By using the website located at opscollective.co (the “Website”) you’re agreeing to these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The Ops Collective Inc. is referred to as “we” “us” and “our.” You’re referred to as “you” and “your”. 


TERMS OF USE

Our Intellectual Property

We own the trademark rights to THE OPS COLLECTIVE. That means you can’t use THE OPS COLLECTIVE for any purpose except in referring to us and our services. The copyright to all the words, graphics and images on the Website either belong to us or are being used under a license. You may not make copies of the content of the Website except for those made by automatic processes related to caching. 

No Representations or Warranties and Limitation of Liability

We make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation or availability of the Website, or the information, content, and materials available to you there.


Limitation of Liability 

We are not liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way related to your use of or inability to use the Website even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.


No Embargo Users

You represent and warrant that you’re not located in a country that’s subject to a United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country.

We Collect Information in Two Ways

Individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) have certain legal rights relating to personal data. For individuals in EEA, we are considered to be the “controller” of your personal data. You may also have rights to object to our handling of your personal data, restrict our processing of your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have provided. The servers that house the Website and your information are currently located in the United States. 

Children’s Privacy

We will take all reasonable steps to delete personal information of individuals under the age of 13 if we become aware that we are in possession of that information.

These safeguards vary based on the sensitivity of the information that we collect and store. We will hold your information for as long as we are legally permitted to do so. Information may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes

The Website contains links to other websites. We have no control and we take no responsibility for the content of those websites. Some of the links on the Website lead to our account at a social media site. When you go to our social media accounts, the terms of the social media site apply. We’re also not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Website and to read the privacy statements of sites they visit that collect their information.  

Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

The laws of the state of Vermont govern these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy without applying Vermont’s rules on choice of law. By using the Website, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in Vermont.

Revisions

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy at any time. By continuing to access or use the Website after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Website
